Important! An online ticket is not necessary for discount cards. Those cards are scanned at our ticket desk.

Opening hours 2024

Museum: Tuesday to Sunday, 11 am - 5 pm.
Museum shop: Tuesday to Sunday from 11 pm - 5 pm.
Museumcafé Ipanema: Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30 am - 5 pm.

Closed

Both the museum and the café are closed on Christmas Day (25 December) and New Year's Day (1 January).

Reaching the museum

By Public Transport from Maastricht Central Station:

• Bus line 1 direction of De Heeg
• Bus line 5 direction of Heugem
• Bus line 57 direction of Gulpen
• Bus line 78 IC to Liège
• Bus line 350 direction to Aachen Centrum

Get off at the 'Bonnefantenmuseum' stop.

Reaching the museum by car / Parking

There is a disabled parking space on the museum parking lot. Navigation: Enter 'Daemslunet' to get to the museum parking lot.

Parking garage within walking distance

1. Q-park garage Plein 1992
2. Q-park garage Bonnefanten*. There is no lift in this parking garage, only a staircase. This garage is therefore not suitable for parking when using a wheelchair or other supporting means.

Covered parking garages within walking distance: Paid parking on the Avenue Céramique.
Plan your route in advance, for example by using the ANWB route planner.

Accessibility: special facilities

The museum is suitable for visitors with reduced mobility and is largely accessible for wheelchairs. All the floors are accessible by lift (H:30 – L:140 – W:160) and there are benches and portable museum stools on every floor. If it's not possible to use the lift with your mobility aid, you can exceptionally make use of our freight elevator. You cannot get to the third floor with this elevator. 

There are two toilets for people with disabilities, both situated on the ground floor.

• NB: The third floor is only accessible via the lift and the staircase on the south side, on the second floor. Exhibitions on the third floor have limited access for visitors in a wheelchair.

There is a disabled parking space in the museum’s own car park. Q-park parking garage Bonnefanten does not have a lift!
