In the Brueghel Lab, visitors from 6 to 106 can roll up their sleeves and make their own work of art.

Copy Room

The works of Breughel are real puzzles. By drawing or colouring them in, you can discover all kinds of details. In this Copy Room, visitors could place a line drawing on the projection of Breughel the Younger's Census in Bethlehem and complete the work according to their own imagination.

Studio Paper Hat

People in the 16th century often wore headgear, usually made of leather or fabric. In this lab, we stick to paper. Using various designs, you can fold a fantastic hat yourself.
