Queen Máxima opens the exhibition Cooking from the Fridge at Bonnefanten

Queen Máxima opens the exhibition, takes a tour of the exhibition and speaks with curators, artists and staff on 10 November.

On 10 November, Her Majesty Queen Máxima opens the exhibition Cooking from the Fridge at Bonnefanten in Maastricht. The exhibition brings together artworks acquired over the past thirty years for the collections of Bonnefanten, SCHUNCK in Heerlen and Het Domein in Sittard. It features national and international masterpieces and highlights South Limburg's importance to the international contemporary art scene.

Queen Máxima opens the exhibition, takes a tour of the exhibition and speaks with curators, artists and staff.

The exhibition is organised to mark the departure of Stijn Huijts, director of the Bonnefanten, who previously served as director at SCHUNCK and Het Domein. For Cooking from the Fridge, twenty-seven national and international guest curators have been given the opportunity to shape the exhibition using works from the three museum collections. The result is 270 works of art, comprising a mix of paintings, photography, film, video, sculptures and installations.
