Have a tried-and-true family recipe up your sleeve, or just feel like baking something delicious? Then this is your moment! Whether you are a first-time baker or have been surprising family and friends with your cakes for years: every home baker or cake wizard is welcome to take part in Bake for your neighbour(hood).

Fire up that oven, get creative with your favourite sweet or savoury bake, and you might just win one of our fantastic prizes. The only requirement: your bake must be made with love!

Please note: Be sure to remember what ingredients you use – this helps us take allergies into account so everyone can taste safely.

How do you participate?

  1. Invent and bake your most delicious creation - sweet or savoury, anything goes.
  2. Drop off your baking on Sunday 25 May between 12.30 and 13.00 in the Charles Eyckpark at stand 5.
  3. Enjoy all the festive activities in Bonnefanten, Centre Céramique and Charles Eyckpark while a professional jury (including Sébastien Trudelle and Robert Uphoff) judges your creation.
  4. Win great prizes such as an overnight stay offered by LBG hotels, a wine package from Thiessen and much more!

At 2.30pm, the winners will be announced. Afterwards, all the baked goods will be shared with the neighbourhood - because tasting together should be part of it.
