In collaboration with Lumière Cinema, Bonnefanten presents a series of screenings that provide context and complement the current exhibitions at Bonnefanten. On Wednesday, January 29, at 19:30, it’s time for 'Snajka: Diary of Expectations'.

This intimate documentary explores the complexity of a romantic relationship between the Croatian Tea and the Roma Mirsad. Despite the lack of support from their families and the cultural differences, they try to build a new life together with their daughter Frida.

The screening is part of the collaboration between Bonnefanten and Lumière Cinema and complements the exhibition Małgorzata Mirga-Tas: This is not the end of the road, which is on view at Bonnefanten until February 16, 2025.

After the screening, there will be an online Q&A with director Tea Vidovic Dalipi. The language of the evening is English.
