Course in cooperation with Studium Generale:
Introduction to contemporary art

Can we still like contemporary art? And what ís Conceptual Art? What's the difference between modern and contemporary art?
Some of these questions are considered in the course Introduction to Contemporary Art. Two lectures and an art tour will focus on important developments in contemporary art since the 1960's. Of course the collection of the Bonnefanten will play an important role. The landslide in the field of contemporary art since the 60's has not only generated a new type of art but also has required a considerable mindswitch from the viewer.
New course dates will be published in the near future.
