The Bonnefantenmuseum was presented with the Honorable mention MUSE Award for Mobile application on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the 2012 American Association of Museums Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, MN. This award recognizes the Bonnefanten's app Just add art! innovation and achievement in media and technology. The 2011 winners in this category were the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum (Gold), the MoMA (Silver) and the American Museum of Natural History (Bronze).
